How Private Is My Credit Report?

The information that you provide to us is held with the strictest of confidence. It has never been the practice of LRS Financial Network, Inc. dba HNB Mortgage, nor is it our intent in the future to sell or share personal information about you. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law. This commitment applies not only to our current customers, but also all former customers.

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Consumer Credit Reporting Companies are permitted to include your name on lists used by creditors or insurers to make “Firm Offers” of credit or insurance that are not initiated by you. The FCRA also provides you the right to “Opt-Out”, which prevents Consumer Credit Reporting Companies from providing your credit file information for “Firm Offers”.

You can remove your name from any marketing list compiled by a CRA, whether the list is pre-approved credit offers or direct marketing. To “opt-out”, this is, to remove your name from mailing lists compiled by credit bureaus, call the toll-free number all CRA’S are required by law to maintain for this purpose:

This phone number can be used to remove your name from the list of all three CRA’S. You may also write to the CRA.
